The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner will lead the HR function at the plant level by serving as a business partner to managers, supervisors, and employees across the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for employee relations, performance management, workforce effectiveness / organizational development, individual development planning, recruitment / selection, and other workplace initiatives. The incumbent will provide leadership and counsel to business partners in issue resolution, policy and process development, policy adherence, and process renewal to ensure legal compliance as well as maintaining a strategic and operational view that links the role of HR to business needs. Incumbent is a member of the Leadership Team.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $120,000.00 - $168,500.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.

Responsibilities:
- Formulates and recommends facility HR policy and objectives using established processes
- Ensures development of and adherence to principles, practices and guidelines
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR, and serves as internal consultant to the facility concerning these requirements
- Protects interest of people and the company in accordance with Colgate policy, Code of Conduct, and legal requirements
- Reviews recommendations for performance improvement actions and / or de-selection and ensures de-selection processes are followed
- Coordinates the process of performance management and people development within the facility, including the Succession Planning process
- Partners with compensation in process to establish annual hourly wage recommendations; reviews and approves exempt salary increases; establishes salary budget for base salary increases
- Analyzes and / or prepares a variety of reports concerning the HR function as are necessary to communicate, educate or inform
- Consults and works with individuals and teams to provide appropriate coaching and feedback.
- Influences organizational design, team development, personal development, training strategies and budget to achieve objectives
- Keeps Leadership Team informed of team member issues and concerns on an ongoing basis
- Leads and coordinates the selection/assessment process (internal and external candidates); certifies the interviewers/assessors to participate; ensures integrity of process
- Provides training and development experiences for hourly technicians and all Salaried & Clerical (S&C) team members, in leadership, Managing with Respect, and other competency areas
- Supports organizational diversity by enabling each team member of the organization to contribute to full potential through the use of skills, ideas, energy and creativity
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated HR Generalist knowledge/experience in training, performance management processes, employee relations, compensation, and organizational effectiveness and development
- Consultative, influence, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to relate and compare data from different sources; securing relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a base of information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Knowledge of SAP/ Employee Central / HRIS
- PHR or SPHR Human Resources Certification
- Strong project management and presentation skills
- Effective coaching & counseling skills
- Effective communication skills
