Pebble is seeking a Director of Global Supply Management to lead and scale our end-to-end supply chain strategy during a period of rapid growth and product development. In this role, you will define and oversee the global sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and risk mitigation strategies across our mechanical supply base - with a focus on quality, delivery, and long-term partnerships.
As a key cross-functional leader you will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product to ensure our supply chain scales efficiently and sustainably. This role is ideal for a strategic, execution-focused supply chain leader with deep experience in mechanical sourcing within fast-paced hardware or automotive environments.

This role is ideal for a strategic, execution-focused supply chain leader with deep experience in mechanical sourcing within fast-paced hardware or automotive environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Pebble's global supply chain strategy, with a focus on building scalable systems for sourcing, procurement, and supplier performance across mechanical components and assemblies.
- Establish a high-performing supply base for NPI and production including CNC machined parts, sheet metal, injection-molded plastics, enclosures, and other precision-engineered components.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and long-term strategic alignment.
- Partner with Engineering, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing to drive design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and supplier readiness from concept to mass production.
- Build and lead a growing team of supply chain and sourcing professionals as the organization scales.
- Implement risk mitigation plans and continuity strategies to protect production timelines and product quality.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality, delivery, or strategic supplier relationships.
- Establish operational KPIs and dashboards to track supplier performance, delivery metrics, and supply chain health.
- Act as a senior voice in business and product planning, providing guidance on supply chain risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain, sourcing, or procurement leadership, preferably in automotive, EV, consumer electronics, or RV industries.
- Proven track record building global supply chains from the ground up in hardware-intensive startups or high-growth companies.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical sourcing and manufacturing techniques, including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, vacuum forming, tooling, and jigs/fixtures.
- Experience with custom mechanical systems used in automotive, trailer, or off-grid product applications.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills; demonstrated success optimizing cost and driving supplier accountability.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to drive both strategy and execution.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with a history of building trusted cross-functional partnerships.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments with limited structure.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
