Royal Caribbean Group's Silversea Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst, Product Development on the Destination Development Team reporting to the Senior Director, Destination Experiences.
This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida
Position Summary:
In this position, you would represent Silversea Cruises within the Destination Experiences Department and assist the Managers in all geographical areas assisting in the creation, administration and product loading of bespoke experiences, pre and post land programs including City Stays and Silversea Events and Experiences. This role requires a creative, hardworking and proactive individual assisting our team of destination experts to deliver on our brand strategy of transforming our destination experiences portfolio. In this position, you must utilize communication skills to work with cross functional teams including Marketing, Hotel Operations and Tour Operators. You would also be responsible in assisting with internal and external emails to all shared mailboxes. Furthermore, you would be asked to assist team members and use creativity to help brainstorm, strategize, and propose event concepts, new avenues of business and manage existing revenue streams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting and contributing to a range of shoreside product experiences.
- Responsible for working closely with Managers to assist in vendor negotiations, budgets, allocation sheets, product plans and destination briefings to Sales and Call Center teams.
- Partner with team members to create all necessary presentation materials for senior leadership, Sales and Marketing and shipboard teams.
- Handle daily requests from our internal sales teams focusing on an average of 70+ land programs.
- Conduct travel for partners.
- Assist in project completion for new avenues of business, event concepts, and managing existing revenue streams.
- Work with teams across the brand to drive to deeper insights about the business.
- Gather and distill competitive information and market analysis to create ideas and recommendations.
- Manage timelines and workflows for projects.
- Identify improvement opportunities while displaying creativity, drive, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferrable.
- 4+ years of experience in Destination Management and/or Product Development experience in tourism or in the luxury cruise segment.
- Advance Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI; Strong understanding of Operations.
- Experience working with both shoreside and shipboard teams to bring necessary stakeholders onboard.
- Must possess advanced communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations along with strong operational focus.
- Critical thinker, who demonstrates drive to improve processes where appropriate.
- Able to motivate and manage a team through multiple projects and changes.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage, lead, facilitate and organize multiple small and large projects that run-in tandem.
- Ability to respond to inquiries from other departments, customers, or members of the business community.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift or push up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as computers, printers and telephones.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible to work occasional overtime, evening hours and weekends.
- Ability to work in a typical office environment with moderate noise generated by telephone conversations, computer, printer, copier and light traffic.
