Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Sr. Manager of Original Social Video Content for our growing Marketing team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the development and execution of Fanatics Collectibles' strategy for original short form vertical social video content, programming, and production. This role own the creation of visually compelling video content, driving innovation in social video creation and distribution, and enhancing audience engagement.

In NYC, the salary range for this position is $134,000- $168,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. In Los Angeles, the salary range for this position is $124,000- $154,000. The listed salary ranges are specific to NYC or Los Angeles and may not be applicable to other locations. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.

Fanatics Collectibles is a leading licensor, producer, designer, and seller of physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets for entertainment and sports properties globally, as well as a manufacturer of physical and digital trading cards. It has secured exclusive licensing arrangements with major national professional sports leagues, including the MLB, NFL and the NBA, and related players associations, to produce physical and digital trading cards and other collectibles.
Fanatics Collectibles also has partnerships with a number of individual international sports teams and leagues, as well as owners of other entertainment properties granting similar exclusive rights. Fanatics Collectibles recently announced Fanatics Live, expected to launch later in 2023, which will focus on transforming the digital shopping experience through personality-driven content and entertainment.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the development and execution of Fanatics Collectibles' strategy for original short form vertical social video content, programming, and production. This role own the creation of visually compelling video content, driving innovation in social video creation and distribution, and enhancing audience engagement.
What you will be doing...
- Developing and implement a cohesive strategy for original social video content that aligns with the company's brand, objectives, and target audience.
- Leading the development of creative and compelling original video content that is shareable and relevant to the platform's audience.
- Oversee content calendar to plan and schedule video content releases across various channels.
- Possess the ability to shoot, edit, and produce high-performing video (and photo) content for use across social media platforms; familiarity with relevant tools and software is essential.
- Partnering with both the VP, Social Media and Director, Social Media to produce social media playbooks and other relevant reference materials that will streamline content treatment, standard protocols, and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure all marketing efforts are implemented following appropriate guidelines.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and identify opportunities to leverage current events and topics to boost engagement.
- Lead a team of producer/editors providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collective and creative work environment.
- Live the Marketing standards (sense of urgency, innovation, calculated risk-taking, and integrity) and leading by example.
- Demonstrated track record of creating and/ or managing the creation of original, viral social video content.
Experience you will bring...
- Inherent understanding of internet culture, social demographics, how to build community, and how to show up in social in an authentic way
- Proven ability to manage timelines, lead high-performing teams, and scale a high volume of engaging video content
- Experience managing teams and collaborating across multiple departments
- Must have a proven track record of organically growing large followings
- Self-motivated and highly organized to independently lead evolving tasks and projects
- Passionate about sports and consumer brands and knowledge of the trading card and collectibles space
- Able to travel as needed; work flexible hours/days of the week and weekends
- 6+ years' experience in a fast-paced environment with a high-profile brand
