Zurich North America is hiring a Statistical Analyst or Enterprise Data Specialist to join our team! We are open to hiring talent in one of the following locations: Schaumburg, IL.
Purpose:
To prepare questionnaires and gather, analyze and interpret a wide variety of collected information according to established statistical methods, to ensure management have access to regular information.
Key Accountabilities:
This role will be filled at either the Statistical Analyst or Enterprise Data Specialist Level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant's experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The combined salary range for this position is $58,700.00 - $161,000.00. The proposed salary range for the Statistical Analyst is $58,700.00 - $96,200.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. The proposed salary range for the Enterprise Data Specialist is $98,300.00 - $161,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.

Purpose:

Key Accountabilities:
- Comply with regulation, reporting schedules and changes in reporting requirements.
- Develop processes that streamline the flow of work and increase quality.
- Provide regular information to management regarding filings and reports.
- Create coding requirements for new products and programs. Monitor effectiveness and makes changes as necessary.
- Prepares reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids.
- Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion complex assignments.
- Work with the business leaders to establish Enterprise-wide accountability for data, link business objectives with data needs and identify/measure/close data quality gaps.
- Effectively research, audit and document findings to the Data team and other business partners.
- Consolidate/streamline/map activities of the various data repositories in the organization.
- Contribute to the success of the key corporate Enterprise Initiatives.
- Conduct quality reviews and establish ongoing monitoring/reporting of key corporate data.
- Develop working relationships with technical personnel throughout the organization and ensure collaboration on activities.
- Identify data anomalies and effectively communicate/escalate to management.
- Address ad hoc issues and data inconsistencies, leveraging problem solving techniques and innovative thinking.
- Business Travel, as required
- Extended Hours during Peak Periods, as required
- Maintain a Valid Driver's License, as required
- Regular Predictable Attendance

Basic Qualifications:
Statistical Analyst
- Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Statistical Analysis area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Statistical Analysis area
OR
Enterprise Data Specialist
- Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Data Management area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Data Management area
AND - Experienced in data interrogation, data profiling or data modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL and VBA programming experience add as question
- Commercial insurance experience
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Ability to effectively manage changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with change management tools/methodologies
- In-depth experience with testing scenarios execution
- Experience leading teams of project consultants
