AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager Level 2 (CM2) to support the configuration management of both developmental and operational systems. The ideal candidate will work across multiple teams to establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure the integrity and traceability of system components throughout the lifecycle.
In this position, you will support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area, The ideal candidate will have at least six years of CM experience (or equivalent), with expertise in creating and maintaining configuration baselines, performing audits, and implementing CM plans using automated tools. Experience with source code control systems is required for developmental program assignments.
Mission: As a Configuration Manager on this government program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and traceability of mission-critical systems throughout their lifecycle. Supporting both developmental and operational programs, you will establish and maintain configuration baselines, enforce change control, and perform configuration audits to ensure system consistency and reliability. Your work directly supports the success of high-impact missions by safeguarding system integrity from initial requirements to system retirement.

- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution
- Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a degree
- If supporting a developmental program, must have at least one (1) year of experience using a source code control system
- Manage configuration control processes across the system lifecycle, from initial baselines through end-of-life.
- Create and maintain development, test, and production configuration baselines.
- Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to system needs.
- Conduct configuration audits and manage change control processes.
- Recommend or utilize automated CM tools to support efficient configuration management.
- Collaborate with development and operational teams to ensure CM best practices are followed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated CM tools and source code repositories
- Familiarity with software and hardware configuration audits
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to develop tailored CM documentation and enforce change control discipline
Education and Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution
- Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a degree

Travel
- Less than 10% of travel may occur.
