Summary
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, program, and strategic plan of the facility. This includes maintaining daily census goals as well as overall daily operations of facility assigned.
Responsibilities
Oversee overall operations of the facility including achieving and/or maintaining a profitable operation through income and expense goals that have been established by the Corporate Office
Directly supervise the Management Team
Support the Marketing effort and takes personal responsibility for the facility's occupancy goals Plan and organize adequate staffing to meet patient needs
Supervise and coordinates the activity and projects of all disciplines
Complete performance reviews and disciplinary action as needed for the Management team
Oversee discharge planning & manages facility relationships with aftercare providers to ensure each patient is set up for continued success in his or her recovery journey
Follow, implement, and support facility's policies and procedures; educates staff and patients about policies and procedures as necessary
Develop, implement, and maintain strategy for ensuring compliance with all aspects of relevant facility regulations, including AODE, BHSO, and the Joint Commission
Perform other administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and profitable operation
Provide 24 hour/7 days/week on call coverage for all urgent facility needs. May assign on call responsibilities as needed
Perform job responsibilities assigned to those roles personally or through delegation to other staff members in absence of other roles
Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Applicant must be 21 years of age or older in order to be eligible for company insurance and use of company car
- Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
- Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
- Leaders in active recovery must possess a minimum of 5 years of sobriety
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3 years of experience leading team of 50 or more
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Clinical Role strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Chemical Dependency field, inpatient preferred
