Overview
GENERAL SUMMARY
As the Associate Director, Platform Strategy/Connected Customer Experience (CCX), you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of digital strategies for our clients. Working closely with our UX, web development, and creative teams, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth, developing strategic plans, and ensuring seamless integration for platform enhancements across multiple scrum teams. The ideal candidate will be able to both articulate high-level strategic principles and develop detailed product + platform roadmaps to achieve these objectives. It is necessary for the candidate to have a strong understanding of digital marketing, web development, and UX/UI principles, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy: lead the creation of effective, unique, and brand-specific approaches to owned digital platforms and products through hands-on work as well as team mentorship, guidance, and facilitation. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
New Business: Help run new business pitches in support of the CCX discipline, including development of pitch presentations and case studies
Communication: Be the strategic lead on assigned projects, ensuring that strategy is adhered to throughout creative ideation, development, and production. identify and proactively resolve issues as appropriate with agency counterparts.

Qualifications
Experience: 5-7/+ years of Digital Strategy, Platform Strategy, UX or related advertising experience
Education: Degree from an accredited university or college is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy: lead the creation of effective, unique, and brand-specific approaches to owned digital platforms and products through hands-on work as well as team mentorship, guidance, and facilitation. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with UX, web development, and creative teams to develop and execute digital strategies that drive growth and enhance user experience for our clients.
- Creating optimization and enhancement road maps for client websites, apps, social and other owned properties that incorporate knowledge of user needs and behaviors, best practices and respect the underlying technology and service capabilities of the architecture.
- Organizing and leading collaboration sessions among different agency and client disciplines, including client marketing and in-house technology, web analysts, UX, media, technology and creative.
- Providing proactive and ongoing recommendations to further key digital product strategies, and for prioritization of platform backlogs considering completed work and its impact on the customer/user experience.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital platforms (and specific products/tools), providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
- Identifying user + behavioral insights from diverse data sources and translating those insights into changes in platform-based experiences; communicating the opportunity of addressing these CX needs to varying audiences (clients, technology teams, creative teams, etc.), and aligning the solution to platform goals and objectives.
- initiate and contribute to primary and secondary research to inform and support strategic recommendations
New Business: Help run new business pitches in support of the CCX discipline, including development of pitch presentations and case studies
Communication: Be the strategic lead on assigned projects, ensuring that strategy is adhered to throughout creative ideation, development, and production. identify and proactively resolve issues as appropriate with agency counterparts.
DAY-TO-DAY :
- Own and lead projects on the business they work on
- Contribute to platform roadmaps, author digital product strategies, and own strategic POV for backlog prioritization
- Conduct ongoing research and analysis of client's digital landscape, target audience, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Work closely with web development and UX teams to ensure seamless integration of digital strategies across products Define key digital channel roles, objectives and KPIs on campaigns and for owned properties
- Develop cohesive owned property strategies and product roadmaps (creative as well as assignment briefs)
- Develop strategic recommendations for digital platforms, including website, mobile applications, and social channels
- Effectively communicate and present strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital strategy, web development, and UX/UI design.

Qualifications
Experience: 5-7/+ years of Digital Strategy, Platform Strategy, UX or related advertising experience
Education: Degree from an accredited university or college is strongly preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience developing product/platform roadmaps to guide creative/UX/technical development for mature web properties
- Ability to proactively identify needed product/platform enhancements from independent analysis
- Familiarity with product/platform backlogs and their maintenance in an Agile development process
- Able to identify and communicate the role of specific enhancements in furthering a strategic goal
- High ability to synthesize research learnings to paint the full picture
- High ability to develop insights and stories from qualitative and quantitative data
- Fluency with web & social analytics
- High familiarity with personalization and A/B testing processes and procedures from a strategy perspective, including segmentation, test design and content strategy
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex ideas for team members and clients of all levels
- Manage complex, interrelated projects that span multiple areas or departments and manage workflow.
- A great presenter on one's feet and on paper, capable of inspiring creative team members and clients.
