Position Summary
The Business Analyst for Asset Management and Energy will play a pivotal role in analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing the performance of Life Time Inc.'s extensive asset portfolio and energy consumption across the 180+ locations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency.
JobDuties/Responsibilities
Asset Management:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Life Time Inc.'s diverse asset and vendor portfolio, working across Asset Manager peers to understand key challenges, business opportunities, and reporting needs.
- In partnership with your team, stakeholders, and peer teams, design and deliver analytical solutions, including monthly financial trends, vendor performance KPIs, and long-range planning.
- Design KPIs, calculations and metrics thought automated dashboards that accurately reflect club and vendor process to assist in shaping behaviors
- Ensure scalability of analytical solutions implemented within various toolsets used by Life Time
- Partner with peer analysts, other analytics organizations supporting club business lines, and more to ensure cohesiveness across club- and program-reporting portfolio (e.g. energy management, construction)
- Conduct analysis to inform the landscape and trade-off of business decisions
- Effectively communicate and apply analysis findings to business insights
- Serve as a thought leader on business domain and analytical techniques to elevate team performance
Energy Management:
- Evaluate and implement energy-efficient solutions tailored to the unique characteristics of each location, aiming to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Analyze energy consumption patterns, identify areas for improvement, and recommend sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure effective implementation of energy conservation initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to asset performance, energy consumption, and financial metrics.
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting processes for consistency across all locations.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with regional operations, finance, and facilities teams to align asset management and energy strategies with overall business goals.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to understand location-specific challenges and opportunities.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably infacility management,asset managementor a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in asset management and energy efficiency.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and certifications in the asset management and energy sectors.
- Knowledge of asset and work order management systems (e.g. ServiceChannel) and financial business systems.
- Experience with various programming languages - SQL, R, Python to combine information from multiple sources and data structures
- Experience in a variety of Data Visualization methodologies and toolsets (e.g. DOMO) to provide business and financial insights.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and functional systems in facility management and energy management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance,Computer Science, or a related field
