About Us:IDB is a leading financial institution, committed to providing exceptional services to our clients in the real estate sector. Our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) team is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties and assets, ensuring their optimal performance while supporting the bank's strategic growth.

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Commercial Real Estate NY Portfolio Management team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate, financial analysis, and portfolio management within a dynamic and fast-paced banking environment.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with credit officer, relationship managers and credit admin, assisting in the evaluation, monitoring, and reporting of real estate investments. You will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the CRE-NY portfolio and gain exposure to a variety of real estate asset classes including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help monitor and track the performance of the banks NYC commercial real estate portfolio, including tenant performance, interest and tax payments, lease renewals and financial statement collections.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reviews, portfolio performance reports, including financial metrics, occupancy rates, ordering appraisals and other key performance indicators.
  • Support the analysis of property-level financial statements, market trends, and investment opportunities for the quarterly Watch List and Construction calls.
  • Participate in the creation of financial models and pro forma projections to assess the value and potential return on real estate investments.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify risk factors and recommend strategies for optimizing portfolio performance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including organizing meetings, managing documents ie insurance certificates, site inspection memos, and assisting with internal presentations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate markets, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Compensation:

The expected annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $150,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individuals skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
