Your opportunity

  • Hold yourself and your team accountable for retention and growth within our existing client book
  • Model supportive leadership for your team
  • Set the standard for and contribute to a best in class institutional service standard and superior client experience
  • Working independently, maintains and enhances relationships with existing institutional clients
  • Promotes investment product sales through frequent client meetings and discussion covering investment strategy, account performance, new products, and market developments
  • Collaborate closely with Institutional Client Group colleagues, i, portfolio managers, client portfolio managers, and company executive management to coordinate all sales and support activities for assigned accounts
  • Covers the largest and/or most complex institutional accounts
  • Has thorough understanding of assigned account requirements
  • Identifies areas of high risk/critical business functions and effectively manages these
  • Contributes input to the strategic decisions on behalf of our clients
  • Provides guidance and shares expertise with all levels of the organization
  • Promotes the company and investment products by networking with key contacts, attending appropriate events/conferences and through client meetings
  • Provides leadership to relationship managers to coordinate and assist with preparation and delivery of all monthly, quarterly, and annual materials for client and consultant research including performance reports, attribution, commentary, investment guideline and other relevant client deliverables
  • Conducts regular in-person and virtual meetings with existing clients; set regular agendas for meetings, document follow up and communicate key takeaways to all interested parties
  • Serves as an internal champion for the firms client relations platform and manages the improvement process over time
  • Works with client stakeholders to define success metrics and determine engagement strategies
  • Coordinates regular internal communications and update the service team on issues such as organizational changes, new investment guidelines and contract renewal discussions
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Business Development or senior management

Must have skills

  • 10 or more years of portfolio management, sales, marketing or relationship management experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business/related field or equivalent required
  • Series 6 and 63 or 7 licenses required and CFA or equivalent required
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry and company products
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
  • Advanced ability to work collaboratively with internal teams specifically: Investment teams and portfolio managers, client service, RFP, and other institutional sales members to facilitate timely responses to client requests

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $220,000-$240,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.This role will remain open through May 15, 2025.Colorado law requires an estimated closing date for job postings. Annual Bonus Opportunity:Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
