The Opportunity:

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of national transportation project initiatives. You'll work with program leadership to review project scope documents, budgets, and schedules and interact with SMEs, schedulers, and customers. You'll assume responsibilities, including analyzing, reviewing, synthesizing, and communicating data and results to enable the delivery of physical infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, railroads, and multi-modal transportation transfer stations, prioritized in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Experience working in the transportation field or with direct construction management
  • Experience with client and project management for public sector engineering or transportation planning efforts
  • Knowledge of rail transportation, transit systems, engineering, capital planning, construction, grants management, or environmental permitting
  • Ability to present ideas persuasively in written deliverables and verbal presentation formats, including presentations and status reports
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with working in a Project Management Office (PMO) style team
  • Experience with risk assessment or risk management
  • Ability to manage in a multi-disciplinary project team environment
  • Ability to solve complex client problems and prioritize and manage work across multiple work efforts or clients independently
  • Possession of excellent leadership and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation or Engineering
  • Program Management (PgMp), Project Management (PMP), or Construction Management (CCM) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
