We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly agile Senior Marketing Manager (US) who will contribute to the category-defining work we do in the pursuit of feeding a better future. In this role, you'll own Marketing for the US region across retail and foodservice channels, build a compelling, data-driven annual brand strategy and plan in alignment with overall priorities, including creation and execution of brand campaigns and product pipeline including media, design, field activations, and partnerships.
The ultimate job responsibility will be to drive the business and brand towards growth, working in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders including cross-functional organizational team members. The successful candidate must be results-focused, have an owner-mindset, a passion for our mission, and want a front row seat to changing how Americans eat. The ideal candidate has experience in classical brand management within a CPG environment but wants to experience the fast-paced culture of a highly innovative challenger protein brand, with more direct decision making and autonomy across a broader range of responsibilities, directly contributing to the company's success.

**Annual salary commensurate with experience**
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $140,000 and $165,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.

TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
BRAND MANAGEMENT
- Develops the annual marketing plan and brand campaign strategy that addresses business challenges/opportunities, grow brand penetration, strengthen points of differentiation, and drive full funnel conversion.
- Develops scalable marketing programs plus turn-key tools that can be leveraged nationally and globally and with retailers, elevating the Beyond brand while driving efficiencies.
- Collaborates with cross-functional marketing teams to ideate, produce, and execute on compelling brand touchpoints (e.g., website), assets (e.g., packaging, advertising collateral) and initiatives (e.g., brand campaigns) that deliver on priorities while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Works in close partnership with shopper marketing, PR, social, media agency, sales, and sales support teams to lead strategy and creative brand solutions for assigned brand campaigns, customer programs, partnerships, or sponsorships as identified.
- Partners with the PR team to deliver earned media coverage by ideating on inventive activations, delivering differentiating brand assets, and driving plans that amplify big wins.
PORTFOLIO & PRODUCT MARKETING
- Support the development of a profitable portfolio strategy across innovations and renovations.
- Analyze market data, category trends and consumer insights to identify whitespace opportunities. Leads consumer research aimed at gaining insights into innovation opportunities and new product development and optimization.
- Partner with Value Steam Leads and cross-functional team members to bring lead concepts to life, from brief to shelf.
- Develop relevant product concepts, product positioning, and priority product claims.
- Assist with packaging design solutions to address product and/or business needs; provides category and consumer insights to help inform design development.
MEASUREMENT & BUDGET MANAGEMENT
- Partner with department head to set quarterly and annual marketing targets.
- Lead category, consumer, and competitive trend analysis, and make recommendations for immediate and long-term action plans and programs based on key learnings.
- Manage the total Marketing budget forecasts and actuals via monthly reconciliations. Develop and manage marketing cost estimates, project timelines, and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field required; MBA preferred.
- 6-8+ years related work experience in a related field, with ideally 3 years in a manager role.
- Proven track record with marketing strategy and execution that demonstrate the nuances of building awareness and demand with consumers. Proficient ability in brand marketing with a shown understanding of brand growth and development.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills including proficiency with SPINS, Numerator etc.
- Strong ability to build relationships and to collaborate with all levels of individuals internal and external to the organization.
- Operates with agility, with solid problem solving and simplification skills.
- Proficient skills using MS Office suite (particularly Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, and Slides/PowerPoint), SPINS & data analytics.
- Proven track record of managing a marketing budget.
