About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Operations Analytics to lead our Reconciliation Analytics Operations team. This team plays a critical role in building scalable systems to measure, monitor, and improve the quality of financial data that supports reconciliation, accounting, and finance at Remitly.

You will lead high-impact initiatives focused on data quality, anomaly detection, KPI development, and real-time alerting to ensure that operational and financial data is timely, complete, accurate, and trusted. You will empower your team to build reliable data platforms and develop insights that drive action and enable high-confidence reporting across our financial ecosystem.

This role is ideal for a strategic and technical leader who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys working with large and complex datasets, and is passionate about building analytics platforms that directly improve business operations. You will report to the Senior Manger, Business Data & Analytics - Reconciliation. This is a hybrid role that will require 2-3 days working from our Seattle, WA headquarters.

You Will:
  • Own and scale the Data Quality platform to support Reconciliation and OTC workflows, emphasizing proactive issue detection, automated monitoring, and rapid remediation of data anomalies.
  • Define and drive key data quality metrics across completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency for mission-critical financial datasets.
  • Deliver insights and automation to reduce manual intervention, accelerate reconciliation cycles, and support accurate financial reporting and accounting.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and measurable business impact.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Business Intelligence, Engineering, and Product teams to align data quality efforts with strategic business goals.
  • Design and operationalize KPIs, scorecards, and feedback loops to monitor program effectiveness and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of financial operations.


You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong analytical foundation;
  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven operations, with demonstrated experience using SQL and Python (or similar languages).
  • 4+ years of people management experience leading analysts or technical teams.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, and lead analytics programs that influence decision-making across functions.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Mode) and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Strong strategic and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and engage stakeholders across diverse teams and perspectives
  • A passion for high-quality data, and a drive to automate, optimize, and continuously improve financial operations.


Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $128,000-$160,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
