Registered Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry - Dual Focus Unit - Full Time Days

In this role, the Registered Nurse will be working with individuals with psychiatric disorders in addition to being chemically dependent requiring acute inpatient treatment which utilizes a flexible blend of psychiatric and substance abuse models in a supportive therapeutic milieu. You will perform various procedures and tasks that are essential to the delivery of top-notch patient centered care. You will help optimize the patient's experience, as you provide support throughout the continuum of care and participate in initiatives focused on improving the performance of our nursing practice. This is a full time (12 hours), day shift (7:30am - 8pm) RN position, includes working rotating weekends.

Preferred Criteria:
  • At least one year of acute care RN experience in psych nursing


Required Criteria:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent customer service skills

$112,027-$125,775/Annual
