Job Summary:

Describe the position: We are looking for a dynamic Personal Lines Insurance Placement Specialist Supervisor to exemplify leadership while managing the underwriting and production of policies for clients with a variety of insurance requirements. This role specializes in providing tailored coverage solutions for homes, automobiles, watercraft, umbrella policies, and other specialty exposures. Operating nationwide with admitted and non-admitted carrier offerings, this position requires achieving monthly and quarterly production goals and collaborating with agents and carriers to ensure optimal placements.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Underwrite and Produce Personal Lines Business

-Operate within the assigned delegated authority statement for role

-Serve as conduit for referrals to carrier partners to maintain underwriting quality

2. Achieve Production Goals:

- Set and attain monthly and quarterly production targets aimed at fostering business growth and performance improvement.

- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.

3. Collaborate with Stakeholders:

- Engage and work closely with Placement Specialists, clients, and carriers to address unique insurance risks.

- Be the key liaison for your assigned team members, guaranteeing an exceptional customer journey.

4. Nurture and Maintain Dynamic Relationships:

- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, carriers and team members

-Maintain responsibility with assigned team members for meeting performance goals in both qualitative and quantitative measures.

5. Improve Placement Efficiency:

- Discover and propose methods to streamline workflows and maximize team efficiency.

- Apply industry-leading methods to streamline processes and improve workflow effectiveness.

6. Assure Consistent Compliance with Regulations and Implementation of Best Practices:

- Lead by example and follow internal procedures and best practices to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with carrier and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications/Skills:

- Strong underwriting and analytical skills.

- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

- Proven track record of achieving production goals.

- Knowledge of both admitted and non-admitted carrier markets.

- Ability to identify and implement workflow efficiencies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Compliance-oriented with an understanding of regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
Experience working with diverse insurance risks and personal lines coverages.
Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset with a focus on solutions.
Proficiency in insurance systems, rating tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Insurance designations (CIC, CPRM, CISR, or similar) are preferred.

Education/Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in personal lines underwriting, insurance placement, or a related role.

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
