As a Supplier Quality Engineer at MKS' Global Supply Chain organization, you will partner with Global Supply Chain - Category Management, Procurement, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality, and others to execute supplier quality management and development activities within the supply base. You will also be responsible to be the single point of contact for your assigned Business Unit in managing supplier quality activities. You will also work with key MKS suppliers to drive corrective actions to ensure control and robust processes. In this role, you will report to the Supplier Quality Manager.
This position is located on-site at our facility in Wilmington, MA and has the flexibility for a hybrid schedule.

You Will Make an Impact by:
- Execute supplier quality activities of purchased products (Supplier approval, Product qualification/FAI, Nonconformance management, Supplier Corrective Actions, supplier surveillance activities, etc.).
- Act as liaison between Engineering and suppliers to ensure conformance of purchased products to MKS specifications.
- Lead supplier quality activities for your assigned Business Units.
- Managing suppliers' corrective actions and key process improvements relevant to your business.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of Travel is required (mainly local/domestic).
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical field or engineering.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of related experience working in quality/supplier quality/manufacturing engineering.
- Strong Project management skills.
- Demonstrated use of Quality tools (FMEA, SPC, GR&R, CAPA/RCA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and auditing.
Preferred Skills:
- Direct manufacturing experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or PCBA.
- Practical experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- ISO lead auditor certification/ASQ CQA or equivalent.
