Job Summary
The Product Owner - Annuities collaborates with leaders, internal stakeholders, and partners to reliably and continuously deliver value-added technology solutions to the business. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Annuity Administration platforms (ID3) and Annuity Order Entry platforms (FirefLight, Affirm) to advocate for enhancements or integrations aligned with the business strategy. You will interact daily with the technology team, business operations, and vendor partners to properly steer and manage the delivery of those needs and desires and use your understanding of the business and technology landscapes to help develop future state capabilities and drive the technology roadmap. In this highly visible role, you will exercise your opportunity to design processes for the future, weigh-in on strategic direction, build out documentation, and evolve this product suite and function as a whole.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Salary Range:
$107,250.00 - $156,750.00

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize technology work for the business. Negotiate and adjust scope based on evolving needs.
- Partner with BSAs and IT to articulate business requirements that drive technical solutions
- Develop compelling business cases with cost-benefit analysis. Translate ideas and / or work requests into consumable user stories.
- Manage the delivery and communicate status updates to leaders/stakeholders.
- Participate in acceptance testing.
- Demonstrate solutions to leaders/stakeholders.
Skills and Background You'll Need
- EDUCATION: A Bachelor's degree is required.
- EXPERIENCE: 7+ years in a product owner or product owner-like role. Proven success participating in technology delivery efforts. A strong background in Annuities, and familiarity with Annuity Administration platforms / Annuity Order Entry platforms (ID3, FirefLight, Affirm, or other) is required for this role.
- Prior experience with vendor management, negotiation, and an ability to influence.
- Experience developing business cases with cost-benefit analysis, showcase polished presentation abilities, and effectively engaging diverse audiences.
- Strong project management experience, communication skills, and ability to translate technical jargon to a non-technical audience.
- An understanding of integrations, and best practices around how data is processed & fed is highly preferred.
