Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Defense Litigation Practice in our Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for those who have handled Medical Malpractice matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility and grow within a collaborative, trial-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case development
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Illinois
• Civil litigation experience
• Prior Medical Malpractice defense experience preferred
