What You Will Do

• Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of products during the manufacturing process.
• Design test systems, create test plans, and collaborate with various teams to identify and address issues.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure testability considerations are integrated into product designs.
• Execute tests on manufactured products to verify functionality and quality and troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Document test processes, procedures, and results. Implement and maintain automated test systems to increase testing efficiency.
• Develop scripts and software tools for automated testing.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications through effective testing and contribute to the development and improvement of quality control processes.
• Analyze test data to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. Provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams for continuous improvement.
• Implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies.
• Works with development engineers to develop, execute, and track the testing of new and existing products and accessories.
• Creates test cases that will ensure the reliable operation of the products including four-corner testing.
• Works with customer support to reproduce customer problems for engineering.
• Develops test methods to be used from engineering specifications.
• Reads and interprets diagrams, schematics and drawings to isolate issues found in testing.
• Performs routine go and no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results.
• Perform repairs and component removal or replacement. Recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations.

What You Need

• The ability to handle and solve difficult problems as they arise.
• Experience in mentoring & overseeing the work of Junior professionals.
• Career-level professional within field. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.
• Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Our good faith estimate for the rate for this role is $93,144- $120,869. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.

This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
