Position Summary:
The Vice President, Electrical will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of our eBOS business, overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations while driving new business development and customer engagement. This executive will play a key role in defining product roadmaps, optimizing production, and establishing strong relationships with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms), developers, and asset owners across the solar energy ecosystem. The role will matrix into a number of the companies' functions to ensure congruity and integration including Sales, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Engineering, Project Engineering (configure to quote), Finance, HR, Legal, and IT.

Salary range applicable to California: $255,000-$325,000

Key Responsibilities:
Business Leadership
- Lead and grow the eBOS division, including strategic planning, cost accountability, and operational performance.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer relationships.
- Champion innovation in product development and customization to meet evolving industry needs.
Operations & Manufacturing
- Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive lean manufacturing practices, process improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to drive cost and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all production sites.
Commercial & Customer Engagement
- Work close with Sales to develop and nurture relationships with EPCs, solar developers, and asset owners.
- Serve as a key spokesperson and technical expert with external partners and clients.
- Support sales and marketing efforts with product knowledge, market insights, and strategic guidance.
Product Strategy & Development
- Develop product roadmaps to ensure continued innovation, as well as cost reduction roadmaps and drive plan vs actual, working closely with other company departments
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive the development of standard and customized eBOS solutions.
- Ensure that product offerings align with customer requirements, project timelines, and industry standards.
- Monitor technology trends and competitive activity to maintain a leading edge in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in electrical systems, solar PV, or related energy industries, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing manufacturing operations, supply chains, and technical product portfolios.
- Strong track record in business development and building strategic relationships.
- Deep understanding of eBOS components and utility-scale PV project requirements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
