Pay Range:$115,000 - $135,000
Job Summary:The Supply Chain Manager, Commercial Transportation- Extrusion North America (ENA), will oversee all production and volume activities to meet customer service, profitability, and cost objectives. This role involves collaborating with various plants to maintain reserve levels and fulfill customer agreements, while also developing processes to optimize plant loading and scheduling. This will be an onsite position at any of our ENA plant locations. The position reports to the Director of Customer Service and Marketing and requires frequent travel to support operations and deploy supply chain procedures.
Required Education/Experience:
- BA/ BS degree in related field or equivalent in education & experience required.
- Minimum of 8 years supply chain experience in manufacturing required; significant portion of this experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong supply chain acumen, general business acumen, working knowledge of continuous improvement processes required.
- Excellent computer aptitude, communication and collaboration skills are required.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker, delegator, problem-solver, decisive and proactive.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or other master's level degree)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a process to effectively load all respective CT plants with the optimal volume allotted.
- Determine and employ effective strategies to support scheduling customer orders and customer service requirements.
- Partner with other SCM managers to balance volume in all market conditions.
- Work closely with all respective plants to obtain profit, service and COTD goals.
- Manage/support all off-site partners to execute Kanbans, kit programs, etc.
- Provide support to VP Natl Accounts, NAMs and CSRs on reports, scorecards, etc.
- Report out CT Business KPIs.
- Develop and help deploy strong Supply Chain disciplines and procedures throughout the CT network.
- Able to accommodate 30% travel at minimum.
