Key Responsibilities:
- Ditching: Perform precise ditching of dies to ensure accurate and clean margins, critical for the fabrication of superior restorations.
- Metal Finishing: Skillfully finish metal substructures, ensuring they meet exacting standards for fit, function, and esthetics.
- Waxing: Apply advanced waxing techniques to create precise anatomical forms and occlusal detail for crowns and bridges.
- Casting: Demonstrate mastery in the casting process, ensuring accurate and high-quality castings for all metal substructures.
- Quality Control: Inspect and verify the accuracy and quality of all restorations, maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
- Case Communication: Discuss case details with dentists and other clients over the phone, providing professional insights and recommendations as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve consistent and exceptional results, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Crown & Bridge Technician in a dental laboratory setting
- Proficiency in ditching, metal finishing, waxing, and casting
- In-depth understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and materials
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality restorations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards
- [Optional: CDT certification in Crown & Bridge is preferred but not required]
Compensation:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week
- Total annual compensation: $60,000 - $150,000
- Candidates with relevant management or leadership experience may qualify for compensation closer to the top of the range
