This is a non-exempt position. Duties: Lead larger more complex technology deployments in support of global desktop management. Manages and provides expertise/advice on the complete SLC of technology deployment projects. Applies IT and business knowledge to formulate a solution for a business/client problem. Works directly between IT and various business/client areas in support of global desktop management technology deployments. Direct/Lead sub-teams on various phases of technology deployments on larger scale more complex technology deployments. Lead cross divisional enterprise wide evaluation of new technology solutions/strategy that pertains to future-state desktop software strategy. May have direct supervisor responsibilities. Provide leadership and guidance to team members by conveying business strategies, while striving for measurable results. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Follow Best Practices and identify process improvements. Define business requirements for large more complex technology deployments; translation of requirements into appropriate IT desktop solutions. Perform work using existing standards, methodologies, tools and processes, understand other software/business processes relationship to each other. Develop Project Charter, project plans, project work plan (WBS), communication plan, training plan and current and future process maps and all other project deliverables determined by management. Communicate project progress to all appropriate stakeholders. Also, provide project status reports for all active technology deployment projects semi-monthly. Prepares, assist in development and may conduct client training. Complete projects/ tasks within time and budget constraints. Document and mitigate technology deployment project issues and risks. Effectively monitor and control project scope and budget. Escalate when appropriate to management. Partner/collaborate with IT and clients. Build good working relationship with clients; readily resolve issues. Identifies and implement process improvements. May have direct project budget responsibility, stay within project budget. Confronts and deals with employee issues in a constructive and timely manner. May have direct supervisory responsibilities and indirect project team responsibility. With direct supervisory responsibilities will require setting expectations, coaching, counseling, developing, guidance and discipline. Adheres to established policies. Provides all related quality deliverables determined by QA. Maintains productive relationships at all levels in *** IT organization and with any external business partners. Acts as a liaison between IT and clients to assure successful implementation of projects. Serves as a source of information to IT organization and clients on all projects directly responsible for. works with very minimal management direction. Clear understanding of the goals and executing to deliver goals within designated timeline. Determines technology deployment project requirements, objective and scope and the development of project work plan and other required project deliverables. Monitor and control projects. Provides guidance and direction to direct staff. Guides the effort of less experienced staff. Independently conceives and develops general approaches to a technology deployment project or problem. Exercises latitude in approach to problem and solution. Determines and develops approach and solutions to problem. Work is reviewed by management to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved. Highly complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects and contributing to formulation of IT strategy. Work involves creative application of wide range of technical and / or management principles. Decisions critical to organizational success. Significant contributor to the organizations and significantly contributes to process improvement and overall knowledge in the organization. Requirements: Bachelors Degree, At least 5, typically 7 or more years of experience
