The Woodlands Division for J.D. Irving Limited is recruiting for forestry professionals seeking to accelerate their career in the area operations management within opportunities in Harvesting, Trucking or Road Construction/Maintenance. In these roles, you will demonstrate your leadership in production, motivating employees/contractors, operational efficiency, budgeting and planning, safety standards, and continuous improvement. Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Forestry, Business, Engineering or another relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of management experience and proven ability to influence others
- Strong safety leadership and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, present to senior leaders, negotiate and problem-solve
- Self-starter focused on results and driving performance/objectives
- Agile and able to lead change in a fast-paced environment
