Are you a strategic and creative social media leader ready to elevate a globally recognized brand? Barracuda is looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media to develop and execute our global social media strategy, and drive engagement, brand visibility, and business growth.
In this role, you'll lead social strategy, content creation, and employee advocacy while using data-driven insights to optimize performance. You will also integrate influencer marketing into the strategy.
As part of the corporate communications team, you'll collaborate across teams to craft compelling content that strengthens our thought leadership and deepens connections with our partners and customers.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is 130,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.

What you'll be working on
- Develop and execute Barracuda's global social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement with channel partners, customers, and prospects.
- Lead content creation and oversee all published content across LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring messaging consistency and brand alignment.
- Build and implement a social influencer marketing strategy.
- Manage the social media calendar, ensuring timely, relevant, and high-impact content delivery.
- Analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable insights to optimize engagement and growth.
- Leverage Sprout social listening to identify trends, gather audience insights, and refine content strategies.
- Champion employee advocacy, equipping internal teams and thought leaders with content and best practices to amplify the brand.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep Barracuda at the forefront of social media innovation.
What you bring to the role
- 10+ years of experience leading social media strategy, planning, and execution.
- Deep experience with LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Experience in the B2B technology industry, preferably cybersecurity.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and crafting social copy that drives action and engagement.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive employee advocacy initiatives.
- Experience defining and integrating influencer marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility.
- Expertise in social media analytics and tools, preferably Sprout, to measure and optimize campaigns and overall strategy.
- Proven ability to develop compelling, high-quality content that engages target audiences.
- Deep understanding of social media trends and emerging platforms.
- Location: Strong preference for CA Bay Area/HQ/hybrid but not required
