Responsibilities
Oversee contract portfolio management and lifecycle processes, driving operational improvements, standardization, and compliance within contract management practices. Manages and coordinates functions and/or resources associated with organizing, implementing and meeting goals/guidelines.
- Establish and maintain standardized CLM procedures and policy governance to ensure consistency, compliance, and accountability across the contract lifecycle.
- Ensures proper coordination and processing of all contracts for review, and oversees the monitoring of contract execution deadlines and contract review assignments.
- Facilitate the end-to-end contracting process, working collaboratively with stakeholders across legal, finance, operations, and other departments.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve contract-related processes, including intake, obligation tracking, contract closeout, and renewals.
- Review submitted documents for completeness and compliance with internal policies for contract workflow.
- Maintain and update contract data within the CLM platform to ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Ensure contracts follow established approval pathways and are executed in accordance with organizational policies.
- Develop training materials and support change management initiatives to promote adoption of CLM best practices.
- Provide day-to-day operational support of the contract management system, respond to user inquiries and process-related questions.
- Manages activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Participates with leadership teams to provide clarity to the scope of work. Communicates status of operations to management and associates.
- Manages and resolves issues that jeopardize the success of the assigned area.
- Prepares and analyzes departmental financial reports, financial analyses and budgetary reports.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
