We Are Looking For

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Sales Development Lead to spearhead the growth of a newly formed team and drive pipeline success. This role is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to not only lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) but also to shape the processes, strategies, and culture of the team from the ground up.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of SDRs, instilling a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Act as a mentor and coach, providing guidance to team members to help them achieve personal and professional success
  • Foster a results-driven environment while maintaining an atmosphere of innovation and adaptability
  • Design and implement scalable processes for lead generation, triage, and conversion
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to establish workflows for routing leads and hand-offs to account managers
  • Regularly review and refine processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company goals
  • Use CRM tools and other technologies to track progress, provide accurate forecasts, and identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound lead generation efforts, ensuring alignment with FDH's growth objectives
  • Develop strategies to target and engage new prospects while mining opportunities from inactive or dormant accounts
  • Support team members in their prospecting activities, offering guidance on outreach methods and tools.
  • Monitor trends in the market and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Leverage insights to shape targeting strategies and refine lead prioritization methods
  • Act as a player-coach by actively contributing to prospecting, lead conversion, and account transitions when needed
  • Support high-priority initiatives and critical accounts to drive immediate impact


What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Proven success in outbound sales within a B2B environment; experience in electronic components, aerospace, and/or defense industries is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in building or leading new sales teams
  • Strong ability to develop and implement processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Highly skilled in written and verbal communication, with an aptitude for crafting effective outreach strategies
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to make a lasting impact
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and experience in leveraging data to drive decisions
  • Proven experience in growing and scaling sales operations from the ground up
  • Knowledge of market research methods and ability to translate findings into actionable strategies
  • Experience fostering collaboration across multiple teams to align goals and ensure success

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
