About the Role

We're hiring an Account Executive to help drive growth for a rapidly scaling, venture-backed fintech startup. This is a cold-call-heavy, outbound sales role focused on generating new business from healthcare providers. You'll be responsible for owning the full sales cycle - from outreach to close - and will play a key role in expanding market presence in New York and DC.

This position is 100% in-person and ideal for candidates who thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and are confident initiating conversations from scratch.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct high-volume cold outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Qualify, engage, and convert leads across the healthcare sector
  • Deliver tailored product demos that effectively showcase value
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate and close leads
  • Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline through research and networking
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product to refine messaging and improve conversion
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and CRM documentation

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of outbound sales or full-cycle closing experience
  • Proven success with cold calling and initiating conversations with new prospects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident presence
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Background in SaaS, healthcare, solar, automotive, or other high-velocity sales environments is a plus
  • Bonus: Background as a student-athlete or similar competitive drive
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
