Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospita l, a 150-bed facility in joint partnership with Baystate Health and Lifepoint Health located in Holyoke, MA , is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team. The incoming physician will oversee our growing mental health care program for our 24 bed Child & Adolescent Psychiatry unit. This is a full time employed position that will share call with other providers. Board Certification/Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (with ACGME-accredited fellowship training) is required .
Holyoke is in the suburbs of Springfield and about 2 hours from Boston and 3 hours from New York. This riverside community offers an abundance of outdoor activities and affordable housing options. Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school doctoral program required; completed residency in Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, board certification preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in hospital based psychiatric practice or outpatient psychiatric practice preferred
License: Current unencumbered medical doctor licensure in the state applicable to the facility
Additional requirements: Successful credentialing with facility.
