KX Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Must Have: Hands-on experience with kdb+ and q programming language
Solid understanding of time-series data and database internals
Experience with real-time data ingestion and analytics pipelines
Familiarity with financial markets, trading systems, or IoT data (preferred)
Exposure to scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation
Understanding of Linux/Unix environments
Strong problem-solving skills and performance tuning expertise

Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain kdb+/q solutions for real-time and historical data processing
Build performant data pipelines and analytics workflows using KX technologies
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate kdb+ into larger enterprise systems
Optimize queries and database schemas for performance and scalability
Support deployment, monitoring, and incident management for kdb+ environments
Contribute to documentation and best practices for kdb+ development

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 a year
