Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Results: Lead a team of store leaders to achieve sales and profit goals by using data, strategy, and hands-on coaching to reduce expenses and boost performance.
- Hands-On Leadership: Regularly visit stores (including nights and weekends) to assess operations, support teams, and ensure top-tier execution in every corner of the business.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with foodservice and category teams to grow food and beverage sales while maintaining high standards in quality, compliance, and customer experience.
- Lead with Purpose: Inspire teams by championing Tri Star's mission, vision, and values, creating a positive culture where people thrive and guests keep coming back.
- Be the Connector: Serve as the vital link between store teams, leadership, and support departments-ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution of company initiatives.
- Drive Excellence: Oversee food, beverage, and marketing programs to ensure every location delivers consistent quality, compliance, and a standout guest experience.
- Grow Future Leaders: Coach, develop, and mentor General Managers to build high-performing teams and strong store leadership rooted in Tri Star's values.
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Use data and insights to ensure stores are staffed with the right talent, reduce turnover, and keep teams focused on results.
- Champion Training & Succession: Drive a culture of learning by supporting training programs, onboarding new GMs, and preparing top performers for the next level.
- Lead Through Change: Embrace and guide teams through new initiatives with a positive, adaptable mindset.
- Model Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality, take feedback in stride, and always lead by example.
- Lead & Support Store Leadership: Oversee a team of General Managers-hiring, coaching, and guiding them to deliver results while upholding Tri Star's standards and values.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years of retail, hospitality, or restaurant operations management experience.
- Prior General Manager level experience.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Passion for career development in self and others.
- Strong financial acumen, marketing awareness, and operational metrics experience.
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings/nights and special events as needed.
- 18+ years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable.
- Able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3+ years of multi-unit management experience directly supervising General Manager level staff.
- Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environments.
- Prior supervisory experience in Food Service, Retail, or Convenience Store environment.
- Experience working with MS Excel.
Total Rewards Structure:
- Pay Range: $75,000 to $90,000 Base Salary
- Base compensation for Tri Star Energy is based on many factors such as experience, district location, and sales volume of the stores in the district. This can result in a wide range of pay.
- Bonuses are paid quarterly. The bonus calculation is based on store profits and other compliance factors.
- District Managers also receive a company vehicle for business and approved personal use.
- 10% discount at all TSE brand locations.
