Job Description
Manage industrial hygiene projects from inception to completion, developing and implementing strategies to assess and mitigate environmental health hazards. Conduct comprehensive industrial hygiene assessments, oversee sample collection and analysis, and prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings and recommendations. Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources. Write and review proposals for new projects and clients, provide training and guidance to junior staff, and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
Work in a collaborative team of 10-15 Environmental Scientists and Inspectors, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role involves overseeing sampling in the field, working on NYC Agency Projects, and being based in a great office in Midtown, New York. Enjoy a fun culture with opportunities for growth, learning from senior staff, and engaging in social activities like happy hours and outings. The company supports professional development by paying for any additional certifications needed during the first week of training.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $67.30/hr.

- 6-8+ years of experience in Environmental Science
- Environmental Project Manager experience
- NYCDEP project experience
- Air Sampling Technician certification
- OSHA 30 Certification

- OSHA 40-hour Certification
- OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
