Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning activities. The ideal candidate will manage tax reporting and strategy, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations while optimizing tax liabilities for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities as needed.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and guidance on tax matters.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports related to tax positions and strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-border teams to address international tax implications.
• Ensure adherence to IRS regulations and other relevant tax laws.
• Utilize tax software to enhance efficiency in tax reporting and compliance processes.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to advise management on necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related roles.
• Extension Cross-Border experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations and compliance.
• Proficient in tax software and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
