The SCM Systems Advisor provides user guidance and support for SCM technologies and sustainment activities including the maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement of supply chain systems and tools. They support the implementation of technology enhancements and also with process and technology change management activities. They resolve workflow and approval issues, ensure seamless integration of procure-to-pay solutions, and manage technology issues and enhancement requests. They ensure the effectiveness of SOX controls, maintain compliance within SAP modules, and adhere to SCM internal policies. The role involves delivering end-user support, responding to stakeholder queries, supporting MSP partners, monitoring SCM practices, managing technical issue escalations, and participating in process and technology initiatives.
Advisors work closely with MSP partners, business and supplier stakeholders, IT and third-party technical support resources to achieve their objectives. SCM Systems Advisors play an integral role in the Manage Goods & Services Process, both directly and as a process champion to understand and drive best practices.

- Provide guidance and support to internal and external customers on SCM technologies and processes.
- Resolve SCM workflow and approval issues, monitor system performance, and collaborate with IT for troubleshooting and resolutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of procure-to-pay solutions, focusing on Ariba, SAP S4, Vendor Invoice Management, and Service Now to enhance operational efficiency and business value.
- Manage technology issue intake and enhancement requests, prioritizing them with stakeholders and collaborating with IT on design and implementation.
- Oversee the execution of SCM Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, ensuring control documentation is complete and up to date.
- Maintain compliance within SAP modules by governing the SCM SAP Security access provisioning process.
- Ensure adherence to SCM internal policies, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Address complex procurement issues using expertise and data analysis from SAP, translating findings for non-technical audiences.
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives and coordinate testing for technical changes.
- Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise (HR, IT, Operations, Finance) to identify and resolve integrated data and technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to influence practices impacting SCM and recommend continuous improvements based on industry benchmarks.
- Provide strategic advice to SCM stakeholders and business partners to facilitate effective SCM process execution.
- Apply innovative thinking to develop solutions for complex challenges and manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage deliverables within tight timelines.
- Participate in the enhancement of existing processes and practices.
- Post-secondary education required
