Exciting things are happening at Quorum Hospitality - we are expanding our portfolio with the acquisition of three distinctive hotels in Downtown Palm Springs: La Serena Villas, an 18-room luxury retreat that was one of the first hotels in the U.S. to receive a Michelin Key last year; Del Marcos Hotel, a mid-century modern gem with 17 uniquely designed rooms; and The Three Fifty Hotel, a charming 10-room property with kitchenettes. These additions reflect our commitment to exceptional hospitality and provide new opportunities for growth and innovation.

As General Manager, you'll be at the helm of these vibrant properties, shaping unforgettable experiences for our guests and cultivating a team of passionate professionals. Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 / year plus potential quarterly bonuses.

Your Role:

As the General Manager you will be the driving force behind the hotel's daily operations, sales strategies, and financial performance. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless service which results in high guest satisfaction survey scores.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and cost control. Participate in the sales effort by meeting on-site contacts for functions, greeting important clients, and participating in sales calls.
  • Generate and prepare budgets and financial reports as required for corporate and ownership groups.
  • Participate in ownership calls to review budget and P&Ls.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand and corporate standards.
  • Handle guest concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor department leaders and team members.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality and safety.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and deep cleaning programs.
  • Partner with Accounting on AR/AP, payroll, month end, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in hotel operations.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is preferred.
  • Financial acumen including budgeting and P&L management.
  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems.
