The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, CPA qualification, and experience with trusts and fiduciary services, all while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax compliance and planning processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, CPA qualification, and experience with trusts and fiduciary services, all while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for clients and the organization.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and laws.
- Review and prepare various tax returns including corporate, individual, and trust returns.
- Provide guidance and support on tax-related matters to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients and the organization.
- Conduct training and mentorship for junior staff and tax seniors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related roles.
- Experience in public accounting is required.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, particularly in trusts and directed trust tax issues.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, particularly in trusts and fiduciary services.
- Experience with tax software tools such as Axcess and Checkpoint is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- You do not need direct management experience, but leadership qualities preferred.
