The Infrastructure Financial Planning & Analytics Technology (IFPAT) group aims to deliver best-of-breed solutions to optimize the management of Client's Infrastructure & Support Services organizations. Applications in this space support a range of management processes: Program & Portfolio Management, Workforce Planning & Budgeting, Capital Budgeting, Time Tracking & Billing, Resource Management, and Project Tracking & Delivery Management. The team typically manages large, complex cross-divisional projects across the back office at Client (I.e., Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, etc.)
This position is for a Business Analyst focusing on capturing and converting business requirements into functional design. The role requires the ability to face-off to a diverse base of user-groups to solicit requirements and manage expectations as to what is achievable within realistic time frames. The successful candidate will face off with the application development team, acting as advocate for the various user groups and have should strong documentation skills.

This role will assist in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including:
- Requirements Gathering - collect requirements, create flow diagrams, generate one-page summary slides on key requirements, produce business process documentation.
- User Stories & Design - convert user requirements into user stories (maintained in Jira) that can be groomed and included in upcoming development sprints. The candidate should have experience with standard Kanban and Scrum methodologies for managing a backlog of stories and should be well versed in user story formats, test cases, and success criteria. The candidate should also have experience with user interface wireframes, documenting application behavior, data analysis, and business rules.
- Testing - assist in the creation of system and user acceptance test plans as well as executing the plans or coordinating their execution.
- Training - Coordination and support of training program - work with business areas and training department to develop and deploy multi-channel training as needed.
- Support - Assist in the investigation and resolution of day-to-day production support requests for existing applications.
- Project Management - Candidate should be well-versed in project management tasks, such as developing a project plan/work breakdown structure, compiling project status reports for management, managing scope, and setting project governance models.
- Experience with different requirements gathering techniques (ex. gap analysis, cross-functional process flows, use case modeling).
- Strong documentation skills for all aspects of a project life cycle (requirements, design, testing).
- Demonstration of process and/or system ownership in one or more of the following areas: workforce planning & budgeting, capital budgeting, IT funding request management, cash/fiscal planning, or other financial management processes related to tracking planned and actual spend.
