We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Survey Project Manager to oversee and manage survey projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure that all survey projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Responsibilities
The work environment includes the use of modern surveying equipment and software such as OpenRoads and Civil 3D. The role involves working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. The Survey Project Manager will lead a team and foster a collaborative and positive work environment. The position may require both office and fieldwork, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage survey projects, ensuring all project objectives are met.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor project progress.
- Lead and manage a team of surveyors and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation to stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the surveying or construction industry

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Experience with GIS and CAD software
- Familiarity with modern surveying equipment
