QUALIFICATIONS:

• Washington State Teaching Certificate with Family & Consumer Science endorsement. - REQUIRED
• Strong Classroom management, communication, instructional and organizational skills.
• Manage classroom resources and maintain safety standards in all practical learning settings.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging standard-based lessons in Family & Consumer Science subject areas.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and positive working relationships with students, parents, staff and community from diverse cultural, economic and social backgrounds.
• Experience teaching high school students. - PREFERRED
• Serve as a liaison between the school, state FCCLA organization, and the national office.
• Willing to Travel with students to conferences, leadership trainings, and competitions as needed for FCCLA.
• Ability to establish and maintain a professional and positive working relationship with students, fmailies, community and staff from diverse cultural, social and economic background.

RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Salary Range: $58,626 - 115,488 (Depending on Education & Experience)
