Boasting 72,000 square feet of customizable venues, modern technology, picturesque waterfront views and a world-class culinary team, our San Francisco Financial District hotel is the ideal conference and meeting space facility to host successful business or lively social events.

The Group Sales Manager (Small Market), up to 20 room nights on peak, is an entry-level sales department job in the hotel with a performance quota. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, prospecting to generate business. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals and contracts, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizes Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate. The Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales staff in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

This position is an hourly position with compensation ranging from $35-$44 per hour.

Qualifications:
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management TrainingProgram or equivalent training
  • Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
