Quality Engineer - III

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer III to support our Construction and Facilities Supply Chain (CFSC) organization in enhancing and aligning our quality management systems with IATF 16949 standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and a passion for driving process excellence through structured documentation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, mapping, and proceduralization of in-scope processes.
• Update and enhance existing process documentation to align with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Create and implement new procedures where necessary, including areas such as:
• Risk Management
• Training
• Control of Externally Provided Services
• Supplier Development
• Monitoring, Measurement, Analysis, and Evaluation
• Establish monitoring and measurement frameworks across all processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively communicate changes and ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong skills in process mapping and procedural documentation.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct internal and external audits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, and standardized procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training or certification as a Lead Auditor for IATF 16949.
• Experience in developing and delivering quality-related training programs.
• Background in change management and organizational transformation.
• Familiarity with process mapping techniques including flowcharts, SIPOC diagrams, and value stream mapping.

Certifications (if any)

• Lead Auditor certification for IATF 16949 (preferred).
