The Weapons and Ammunition Support Services Program Manager is responsible for leadership and management of a cross-functional Support Services team drawing from Engineering, ILS, Field Service, Maintenance and Repair functions to deliver the support and sustainment services across all Weapon and Ammunition Projects (MASS, MK30, Sea2000, Protection Systems)

About the Role
The Weapons and Ammunition Support Services Program Manager is responsible for leadership and management of a cross-functional Support Services team drawing from Engineering, ILS, Field Service, Maintenance and Repair functions to deliver the support and sustainment services across all Weapon and Ammunition Projects (MASS, MK30, Sea2000, Protection Systems)
The general and generic duties of the Weapons and Ammunition Support Services Program Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage the Support Services aspects of Weapons and Ammunition Business Unit scope within Australia and abroad across the combined WA projects of MASS, MK30, Sea2000 and Protection Systems;
- Deliver comprehensive CDRLs (SSMP, MMP) and supporting artefacts to ensure support program success;
- Planning, implementation and management of support Program deliverables;
- Plan for and deliver high availability of through life sustainment spares across programs;
- Deliver through shared services, training (internal and external), field service technicians, tooling and sparing for planned and unplanned maintenance activities to meet customer capability requirements; and
- Standardise the forecasting and reporting of metrics across programs to align with customer requirements.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- 5 years' experience in complex military acquisition programs
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant ILS, Engineering or PM disciplines or demonstrable experience equivalent;
- Demonstrated project and financial management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with introduction to service program deliverables and management of sustainment operations.
- Have excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1) (Australian Citizenship required).
