Position Overview:
As the Clinical Director of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals and overseeing the delivery of high-quality care. You will ensure that clinical operations adhere to the highest standards of compliance and performance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role will involve collaboration with clinical staff, medical directors, and senior leadership to drive operational success, improve healthcare outcomes, and optimize resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance clinical quality, compliance, and provider performance.
- Educate and guide providers on key performance measures, including MIPS, HEDIS, and other quality metrics.
- Develop and implement clinical policies that standardize care and align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between providers, physicians, and directors to resolve clinical challenges and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics, assess outcomes, and provide actionable feedback to improve provider performance.
- Oversee subspecialty divisions, including Pulmonology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, and more, ensuring that providers stay up-to-date on clinical guidelines and coding standards.
- Lead initiatives to reduce hospital transfer rates and improve care delivery in all facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
- Oversee medical records requests and ensure accurate, timely documentation for compliance and quality assurance.
- Provide continuous support and training for clinical staff to ensure proficiency in new processes, coding, and best practices.
- Drive strategies to improve patient care delivery and overall clinical performance across the organization.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership and drive decision-making using data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing (NP, DNP), Medicine, or a closely related field.
- Proven leadership experience in clinical operations, with in-depth knowledge of quality metrics such as MIPS and HEDIS.
- Strong track record of managing teams and driving strategies that improve clinical outcomes.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and performance improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
