We are currently seeking a Vice President to join our equity team in our New York office. The role will focus primarily on Office, Retail and Multifamily transactions.

Essential Functions
  • Function as an integral part of deal team and have ability to effectively interface with senior management and clients
  • Mentor and instruct Associates, Analysts and other team members on tools and methods for underwriting, creation of marketing collateral, and otherwise executing their responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
  • Prepare presentations and other materials for clients, including pitch, proposal, and marketing collateral
  • Research and participate in strategic planning to find optimal capital markets solutions
  • Facilitate client meetings and entertainment events

Education and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, advisory, or a combination of both
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office, retail, and multifamily asset classes and markets is required

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
  • Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of real estate transactions with advanced underwriting techniques and deep understanding of equity and debt capitalization structures
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize real estate investment opportunities within the framework of relevant microeconomic and macroeconomic factors
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships, leveraging network to further drive collaboration and business growth
  • Effectively delegates tasks to optimize team performance, ensuring responsibilities are clearly delivered
  • Committed team player who collaborates seamlessly with colleagues, supporting team goals and contributing to a positive, results-driven work environment
  • Strong ARGUS, financial analysis, and excel modeling skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to completion independently within agreed upon deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to perform in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
  • Eastdil Secured requires each non-administrative exempt staff member to be licensed as appropriate in the respective region
