As a Sr. Manager Accounting and Financial Reporting your responsibilities will be:

Financial Reporting:
  • Assist with processes that ensure a timely and accurate month close.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support the financial integration of acquired businesses.
  • Prepare of reporting for debt covenant compliance and other financing requirements.
  • Prepare or review information for management and board reporting.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Collaborate on the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless management reporting.

Accounting Operations:
  • Assist in overseeing various accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure reconciliations and financial controls are accurate and effective.
  • Support fixed asset management, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting.

Internal Controls and Compliance:
  • Lead the process of developing and maintaining a robust internal control systems process.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Team Leadership and Support:
  • Mentor and support accounting staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between finance and other departments to ensure cohesive operations.


A strong Sr. Manager Accounting and Financial Reporting will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and CPA.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with managing general ledger, GAAP accounting, monthly close process, producing financial statements, cash management, budgeting, tax filings, and management of an accounting team.
  • Mastery of GAAP standards and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
  • Experience leading quarterly and annual audits as a preparer.
  • Audit experience within a public accounting firm plus career progression of accounting positions within a company (i.e., Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, etc.) with increasing leadership responsibilities is strongly desired.
  • Experience with private-equity backed companies a plus.
  • This individual must be a senior leader who is a change agent and driver of innovation, willing to challenge the status quo from both an operational and team perspective.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across the business to ensure our systems and processes are running smoothly.
  • Strong attention to details and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with OneStream or similar ERPs a plus but not required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing business.
