Job Title: Licensed Surveyor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Surveyor to join our reputable design firm in Evansville, Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive property research, preparing legal surveys, and overseeing field crews. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in surveying and a strong understanding of Indiana surveying regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct property research, including reviewing deeds, plats, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and deliver various types of surveys, including ALTA, boundary, easement, and topographic surveys.
  • Oversee and direct the field crew to ensure accurate and efficient survey operations.
  • Develop and manage survey proposals for clients, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Ensure timely delivery of completed surveys to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surveying laws and regulations in Indiana.
  • Utilize surveying software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure project success.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on surveying matters to clients and colleagues.
Essential Skills
  • Must be a Licensed Surveyor in the state of Indiana.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Licensed Surveyor.
  • Proficient in conducting ALTA, boundary, easement, and topographic surveys.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing field crews.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in surveying software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Work Environment

Typical Civil Consulting environment. The Civil Team all sit together in the office and work closely together. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM but flexible on start and end times. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
