THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Strategic Account Manager is a key role responsible for driving sales and fostering relationships with national and regional accounts in the general repair, collision, dealer, and fleet business segments across NexaMotion Group's markets, including Transtar, Arch, C&M, PPi, and others. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Accounts, this role will execute business development strategies, support customer programs, and contribute to achieving ambitious sales goals. The Strategic Account Manager will work closely with the sales team and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with NexaMotion Group's objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution:
    • Implement sales programs for national and regional auto repair chains, body shops, fleets, dealerships, and government entities across NMG markets.
    • Drive account growth by executing customer programs, targeting key contacts at both the Home Office and field levels, using pull and push tactics to secure business.
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and profitability targets for assigned accounts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to support ongoing business needs.
  • Account Management & Business Development:
    • Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities with national and regional multi-shop operators (MSOs) and other strategic customer segments.
    • Collaborate with marketing, pricing, and other teams to execute go-to-market programs tailored to assigned accounts.
    • Provide input for market analysis and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
  • Program Support & Product Adoption:
    • Assist in the deployment of market-specific programs to drive product adoption and sales growth, working with Regional Directors and business VPs.
    • Support tailored programs and incentives to enhance customer engagement with NMG's portfolio.
    • Promote online ordering for accounts through NMG's proprietary e-commerce platform, Shop Management Systems, and other digital tools, in collaboration with the Transend team.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure consistent execution of national account strategies.
    • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of NMG's national account programs and improve sales effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align on account-specific goals.
    • Represent NexaMotion Group at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

Experience & Background
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or B2B industry.
  • Proven ability to apply strategic selling principles to grow accounts and close deals.
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape for automotive parts, tools, and technology solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling proposals.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, covering accounts across the continental United States.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, and collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with national or regional accounts in the general repair, collision, dealer, or fleet segments.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or shop management systems in the automotive aftermarket.
