Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a stellar Product Strategy & Special Projects Associate to tackle some of the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives on Collectibles' strategic product roadmap. This Product Strategy & Special Projects Associate will report to the Manager of Product Strategy & Special Projects and will simultaneously own and/or engage with several high-impact initiatives. Given the Product Strategy & Innovation team's end-to-end mandate, this role can expect to both 1) own evaluation and strategic definition of initiatives as well as 2) drive execution and ultimately ensure on-time and high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, and a clear team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

The Ideal Candidate:
The salary range for this position is $107,000-$134,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.

About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a leading licensor, producer, designer, and seller of physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets for entertainment and sports properties globally, as well as a manufacturer of physical and digital trading cards. It has secured exclusive licensing arrangements with major national professional sports leagues, including the MLB, NFL and the NBA, and related players associations, to produce physical and digital trading cards and other collectibles.
Fanatics Collectibles also has partnerships with a number of individual international sports teams and leagues, as well as owners of other entertainment properties granting similar exclusive rights. Fanatics Collectibles recently announced Fanatics Live, expected to launch later in 2023, which will focus on transforming the digital shopping experience through personality-driven content and entertainment.

Within the first 3 months, you will...
- Take end-to-end ownership of a high-impact product strategy initiative and, together with the Product Strategy & Innovation team, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
- Drive analytical insights, report findings, deliver recommendations, and present progress updates to the Sr. Director of Product Strategy & Innovation, SVP of Product Development, and other key leaders/executives
- Work with the entire Product Strategy & Innovation team to identify, size, and actively prioritize all potential initiatives/projects on the product strategy & innovation roadmaps
- Engage with a wide array of end-consumers and channel partners to better understand industry dynamics and refine recommendations accordingly
- Build meaningful professional and interpersonal relationships both within Fanatics Collectibles and with external partners/stakeholders to better inform overall business strategy
- Become a subject matter expert in all things Trading Cards!
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2-4 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops roles
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
- Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
- Extremely comfortable working with and presenting to high-ranking leaders at the VP level and above
- Team-first mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems together
- Ability to handle a multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work across a wide range of high-priority initiatives
- Confidence, intellectual curiosity, ability to cut through ambiguity, and a desire to learn
