SAP Basis Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Perform system upgrades, enhancement packs, kernel patches, and support packages.
• Manage SAP landscape system copies, client copies, and transports.
• Monitor SAP system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform user and role administration across SAP landscapes.
• Ensure system security and compliance standards are maintained.
• Work with other teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise applications.
• Conduct backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery planning.
• Provide technical support for SAP migrations and new implementations.
• Collaborate with functional and development teams to resolve system issues.
• Maintain documentation for SAP system configuration, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant (typically 3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and administration.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with OS-level tasks (Linux/Unix/Windows) and databases (Oracle, HANA, MSSQL).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and Solution Manager is a plus.
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools such as SAP CCMS, EarlyWatch, and other third-party tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
